Lighting is used strategically here to highlight architectural details and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The hotel’s lighting perfectly highlights the character of the building and brings the rooms to life.

Carefully coordinated lighting for a stylish and authentic ambience
At Gschwangut, carefully selected pendant and ceiling lights create an elegant visual balance. Whilst delicate pendant lights above the tables add subtle accents, modern spotlights and lighting systems ensure clean, functional lines on ceilings and walls. Each element blends seamlessly into the high-quality design concept. Careful consideration has been given to the materials and finishes in the various areas: Terrea by Toscit in the buffet area conveys a sense of sustainability. The tiny Rendez-Vous lamps by Panzeri (designed by Philip Platino) provide subtle, glare-free lighting for the tables. The classic Nostalgia by Lodes has been used as an eye-catcher. In the bar area, A-Tube features as an asymmetrical ceiling installation, alongside the high-quality Beam Stick Balloton by Olev, creating a beautiful composition in natural colours.
From the carefully thought-out lighting design and on-site supervision right through to delivery and installation, Platinlux took charge of the entire project at Gschwangut – perfectly coordinated and with great attention to detail.
